When the first man drowned, it was suspected that Karvo was born from the concept of aquaphobia. Karvo sailed the seas before civilization came to be, making him one of the oldest gods to survive The Great Mourning. During the Mourning, Karvo was responsible for keeping countless corpses in the sea, forcing them to drown forever for all of eternity. He played a major role to the victory against the Frostwhisperer of their time, yet he weeped for his ocean, as he had wounded it in order to increase the chances of survival for the other gods. He respects Caleb who paid tribute not only for himself, but for others, yet he despises Otar who cleaved the country in two, wounding his beloved ocean greatly. To this day, grudges are held by Karvo in regards to Otar.
