Baby Jogger City Select Stroller & City Select Car Seat
The City Select 2 Stroller Eco Collection is a versatile stroller that can be converted from a single stroller to double stroller by the addition of an additional seat or glider board (sold separately). It can also be converted to create a triple-travel system by adding the bench seat or an infant car seat. It offers 24 configurations and is a top stroller overall. This model is made with Baby Jogger’s soft and breathable, sustainably sourced TENCEL fabrics. They help regulate the temperature. It comes with a premium leatherette handlebar and bumper bar, as well as the belly bar. It folds 20 percent smaller than the market-leading single-to-double stroller, UPPAbaby Vista V2, and is lighter, too.
It features a medium-sized shade and a magnetic peek-aboo window, that is simple to close or open. The telescoping handlebar is one of the easiest to adjust and works for parents of all sizes. The seats recline and come with a footwell adjustment knob so you can position your child to ensure maximum comfort. The storage bin has plenty of space, but we would have preferred a more secure latch. The bin is easy to open, however the zippers can be annoying because they need to be removed and put back in place after each use.
Like its siblings like its siblings, the City Select has single-action brakes that are easy to set and release with the pulling of a lever located on the side of the frame that is lower than the handlebar. It is sandal- and barefoot friendly and a step up from the awkward brake levers that some competitors use.
This is the only stroller we've reviewed in our review that can accept two infant car seats, making it a great option for twins or parents with just one child and a new baby coming soon. It can be used with most major brands infant car seats by using an adapter. We tested it using Britax/BOB Chicco KeyFit 30, Graco Click Connect models Cybex Aton and Aton Q and Nuna Pipa.
The City Select is not compatible with the UPPAbaby Vista V2. The City Select is an excellent alternative for families who already have a car seat but want a stroller which can accommodate it. However, you may prefer a convertible stroller for this scenario.
