The Summer Infant 3D Lite is lightweight, feature-rich stroller that folds into a small package for easy transport and storage. It is the lightest stroller that we tested and one of the best budget alternatives available. It's not a great option for a stroller to use every day since it doesn't have a bassinet or car seat compatibility but it is ideal for travel.
It is able to support a weight capacity of 50 pounds, and it is able to accommodate a toddler. The seat is flat to allow for napping and diaper changes and the 5-point harness can be adjusted to three height positions as your child grows. The storage basket is big and has an apron for a cup on the back for parents to use. The canopy has an open window with a fabric-covered peekaboo and a separate pocket that is zippered to store smaller items.
The stroller, similar to the UPPAbaby G-Luxe steers well on smooth surfaces, but gets stuck in cracks when we test it on rough terrain. The wheels are plastic and have a higher frequency of vibration than the average for our test group. It also has a longer carry strap than most of our strollers tested, which means it is harder to carry when you're carrying a large bag or a sleeping baby.
The 3Dlite unfolds and folds in only six seconds.
