The most common kind is epithelioid mesothelioma which makes up about 60% to 70 percent of all cases. Other types include sarcomatoid mesothelioma, about 10 percent to 15% of all cases, and mixed mesothelioma, in which epithelioid and sarcomatoid cell types are present.
